You are Welcome Here
Jesus is passing by… just imagine that. Take it in. Now, we can’t imagine in it in the physical sense, because we won’t see him there like Zacchaeus did. We have to see it in the spiritual sense. Our faith has to be activated. It has to be led, just as Zacchaeus was. It has to be as pure as the woman with the issue of blood in the bible. It has to be so tired of giving in to what’s been taken from us. It has to be ready to re-claim it.
We have an opportunity for that encounter with Jesus, whether it’s in a bible verse, in a worship song, through a sermon, at an altar call. Jesus is passing by. And he’s made his way to reach you. Our faith has to make its way past the crowd, past the jeers, fixed only on the author and perfecter. We can’t worry what others are thinking or what they might say. Just pass them by on your way to salvation. It’s you and Jesus. He’s called you by name. Tell him, ‘You are welcome here.’
